We are inviting applications for the role of Process Developer - Underwriting Analyst
Your role will require you to utilize your experience in and knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and underwriting processes to process transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and communicate with the Onsite Team.
Responsibilities
• Work on new business submission to validate availability of minimum required information in the document and segment the same to correct underwriting department with proper platform setup
• Transaction processing according to standard work & SOP and work as underwriting analyst.
• Hands-on MIS skillset for day-to-day data handling and doing production- Excel proficiency is must. (Pivot, data cleansing and standardization and data scrubbing)
• Work loss run reports and Prior history of the applicant's insurance claims activity and cleanse the data.
• Sending Loss run requests to pricing and actuarial teams for further analysis and decision making.
• Extracting loss runs from existing documents and cleanse it and upload the information in the template.
• Preparing insurance claims template after analyzing the loss runs and upload it on platform.
• Sending underwriters the claims reports and informing them in case a loss run report is not available or in any case of missing information for processing.
• Prioritize transactions according to documented guidelines to meet SLA.
• Domain expert in US insurance with direct/indirect client relation and client handling.
• Understand and apply Process Core Competencies
• Good knowledge of P&C Insurance Underwriting
• Interact with Onshore /Offshore and customer in a respectful and professional manner via email and on calls if required
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Any graduate (except technical, BE and LLB)
Preferred Qualifications
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate verbally and through emails with businesses.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with clients & internal stakeholders.
• Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to change.
• U.S. Insurance /commercial/Intake and Routing/P&C.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate and own resolution of discrepancies and disputes.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities within strict time constraints.
• Ability to independently research, analyze, and recommend solutions to close open items and discrepancies.
• Ability to successfully interact in a challenging and high-risk collection environment with demanding internal and external customers
• Relevant Exp in BPO US/UK Insurance or commercial insurance
