Your Focus

As an Assistant Manager based out in Hyderabad, you will be assisting Finance Controlling team on accounting, audit, month end closing and statutory reporting, deduction and payments and will be working closely with cross functional teams.

 

The role is based in Hyderabad and will report to Financial Controller.

 

How you will contribute
•  Monthly reporting, accruals, variance analysis, annual reporting, preparation of local financials and schedules. 
•  Manage Statutory audit co-ordination, Internal audit co-ordination, SOX documentation, control verification etc.
•  Accounts Payable & Invoice submission monitoring and co-ordination with Shared service centre team as required and clearing vendor related issues including processing of payment via M1 exchange portal and Supply chain finance process. 
•  Processing of import vendor payments in close co-ordination with bankers. 
•  Review of TDS deduction process, payment of TDS and quarterly e-TDS filing process. Advance tax computation. 
•  Intercompany billing and reconciliation.
•  Periodic monitoring of aged items of all General Ledger and clearing the aged items. 
•  Respond to audit queries and respond to inquiries and request from local tax authorities.
•  Additional task and project as assigned.
•  Provide support in Finance system testing and implementation project.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

•  Qualified CA/ICWA/CMA with 4+ years of experience or Semi Qualified CA/ICWA/CMA with 8+ years of experience. 
•  A highly numerate individual, able to present information in an accurate manner.
•  Strong knowledge of finance and local tax regulations and implications.
•  Ability to perform under strict deadlines and under a high volume environment where multi-tasking is essential.
•  ERP Finance and accounting system knowledge, especially SAP ERP working experience is preferred. 
•  Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Word.
•  Detailed oriented and organized.
•  Excellent communication skills especially fluent in English. Additional language fluency in Telugu/Tamil is an advantage.
