The Position:
Reporting to the EGS Service Delivery Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on quality and on time delivery of test planning and executions activities in the delivery of Quality Assurance (QA) Testing for new or modified applications/systems across multiple platforms. The QE Testing Analyst will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for quality. Â They will partner with their Scrum Team and business colleagues on a journey of continuous learning and improvement to ensure ongoing optimisation of our test automation capability in support of key strategic outcomes for our business. Â Â
Working across our IM IT Team to deliver successful QE â Test Automation solutions enabling all methodologies with a focus on SAFe Agile. Â You will work with individuals from across the world, with both in-person and remote teams.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
â¢Â   Responsible for delivering the QE Automation roadmap for each team
â¢Â   Build & maintain the automation for critical & complex business applicationsÂ
â¢Â   Product understanding and creating test automation for In-sprint & regression testing
â¢Â   Execute automation scripts and report bugs
â¢Â   Determine priority for test cases and create effective execution plans with maximum coverage
â¢Â   Participate in PI & Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
â¢Â   Track & report automation progress as per the plan
â¢Â   Develop skills in new automation tools to improve the automation penetration
â¢Â   Contribute towards implementation of new ideas & solutions
â¢Â   Mentor & develop junior resources
â¢Â   Adheres to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and help to drive changes to achieve more efficiency
â¢Â   Identify & Support Automation and DevOps opportunities; looking at efficiencies in âIn Sprintâ Automation as well as Regression as we develop our CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills and Experience:
â¢Â   Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically five or more yearsâ experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
â¢Â   2 - 5 Yrs. experience in QE - Test Automation
â¢Â   2 â 5 Yrs. experience in Selenium with Cucumber automation tool
â¢Â   Experience in automation of web-based applications and APIâs
â¢Â   Good experience in Java scripting to develop automation scripts
â¢Â   Experience of developing custom automation solutions & functions
â¢Â   Experience of doing deep failure analysis to address automation failures
â¢Â   Good experience of working in all phase of Test Cycle (Test Design, Test Execution, Defect management & reporting)
â¢Â   Experience of running the test execution through CICD pipelines
â¢Â   Knowledge of the Health Insurance IndustryÂ
â¢Â   Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise of Software Testing
â¢Â   Proven experience of working within an Agile environment
â¢Â   Broad knowledge of automated testing and modelling tools
â¢Â   Good knowledge of different web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, MS Edge, Chrome
â¢Â   Competent user of Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
â¢Â   Excellent written and oral communication skills
â¢Â   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
â¢Â   Comfortable working independently, leading a team or as part of a team
â¢Â   Demonstrate accuracy and possess a keen eye for detail
â¢Â   Strong interest in personal development
Desirable Skills and Experience
â¢Â   Experience in web automation using other automation tools & frameworks
â¢Â   Codeless automation tools experience
â¢Â   Experience in automating desktop & mainframe applications
â¢Â   Experience in implementation of CICD pipeline using Jenkins/Azure DevOps
â¢Â   Knowledge on RPA automation tools
â¢Â   Automation experience on mainframe applications
â¢Â   Experience in testing Salesforce & Vlocity applications
â¢Â   Experience in Python or C# coding
