NA Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible as a techno functional resource for executing the functional and regression tests and creating automation scripts. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on manual functional and Regression testing and UFT/Selenium. The candidate should be well versed with working effectively in agile methodology. Candidate is also expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.

Responsibilities: Test Automation using UFT/ Selenium

Functional Test Cases Design & Execution, Regression Test Pack update & Execution

Test planning & Estimation

Defect Management

Test Status reporting

Onshore coordination (Business Analyst, Development Team and APS Team Etc )

Local Management Reporting

Direct Responsibilities

•        Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in testing and preferably minimum 3 years’ experience in UFT/ Selenium automation testing mandatory.

•        Experience working with any of the automation frameworks in TestNG, BDD – Cucumber

•        Good knowledge of Java used for automation

•        Experience in API testing would be an added advantage

•        Having knowledge on any of “KYC”, “AML”, “Peoplesoft” or “CRM” domain

•        Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills

•        Should be able to read specs & create test scenarios, test scripts etc.,

•        Test execution & raising defects; retesting them to closure

•        Should be able to coordinate UAT test activities with the users / business

•        Developing and executing test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the regression test cycle through automation.

•        Performing automated API testing.

•        Good understanding and developing/executing test cases in an application development environment

•        Good expertise on test automation with hands-on experience on any test automation framework like selenium.

•        Experience in writing unit testing codes

•        Experience in working in Agile projects

•        Experience in bug tracking system (such as JIRA), and source control system (such as, Github)

•        Continuous integration/Continuous Deployment with experience on tools like Jenkins

•        Defect reporting using any of the defect tracking tools.

•        Good analytical skills (functional); Focused to understand and learn application/business functionality

•        Should be able to present and communicate effectively with clients and team members

•        Very basic knowledge of SQL
