ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Consultant is a billable resource in Global Professional Services (GPS) and is responsible for ensuring that IDBS customer satisfaction is maximized in relation to use and deployment of IDBSâs cloud-based software by providing consulting, training, and solution services support.

In addition to delivering IDBS Product modules as workflow configuration and workflow enhancement, responsibility also includes conducting workshops as well as supporting validation and post go-live.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation Excellence:

    • Lead end-to-end software implementation projects, ensuring a meticulous understanding of client requirements and translating them into customized solutions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and quality assurance, to guarantee the seamless integration of software solutions.

  • Client Collaboration:

    • Conduct thorough needs analysis sessions with clients to comprehend their unique business processes, challenges, and goals.

    • Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and improvement, providing strategic recommendations to enhance clients' operational efficiency.

  • Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements within the Life Sciences sector.

    • Guide clients through complex regulatory landscapes, offering expert insights and solutions to ensure compliance and adherence to industry best practices.

  • Training and Support:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to clients' roles and responsibilities, ensuring effective utilization of the software platform.

    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance, addressing client inquiries promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Project Management:

    • Establish and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to allocate resources effectively, balancing workloads to meet project timelines.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the Professional Services Department, contributing to the evolution of best practices and methodologies.

    • Gather client feedback and insights to inform product enhancements, working closely with the development team to drive continuous improvement.

  • Mentorship and Development:

    • Take an active role in mentoring and developing associates within the Professional Services team.

    • Provide guidance on career development paths, share industry knowledge, and foster a collaborative learning environment to enhance the team's expertise.

  • Global Collaboration:

    • Work seamlessly on global projects, collaborating with team members and clients across different time zones.

    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to ensure effective communication and coordination in a geographically diverse work environment.

  • Fluent in English

  • Travel as required to perform role, with an expectation of less than 30% travel within the India region

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Candidate must have minimum 4+ years of experience into Lifesciences / Biotechnology industry

  • Candidates should have a strong knowledge of at least one of our target markets (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech/Biologics development, Analytical Sciences, Agrochemical, Medicinal Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Food & Beverage)

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Demonstrated software skills/aptitude with advanced Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent attention to detail with good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

DESIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Prior experience or understanding of Lab Informatics Architecture such as ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebook), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and LES (Lab Execution System).

  • Understanding GxP (GLP, GMP and GCP) in regulations for biopharmaceutical and bio life sciences business.

  • Prior experience on deployment and delivery of large and complex global projects related to lab informatics solutions, is a plus.
