Danfoss is looking for an MFG Senior Consultant - APAC Delivery to join our diverse team
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
To provide expertise, maintenance, support and development of manufacturing services to ensure stable operation, availability and the application interfaces support production processes.
The role provides application management including developing, installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring and maintaining the manufacturing applications to keep them in a usable state, ensuring they are correct, consistent and available at all required times.
The role provides second level support and coordination of external partners, internal third level support to external vendors including the following ITIL services: incident management, problem management, request fulfilment, change management, test management and continuous improvement.
It is expected you will also be a key technical resource for projects delivering new or upgraded services.

The MFG Consultant deals with multiple stakeholders.
A strong ability to build relationships andcommunicatewith different levels of management is essential.
It is expected the successful applicant will have 4 to 7 years’ experience in complex IT applications management and business processes, with advanced skills in applications management, delivery andsupport. The role focus is manufacturing applications and services as below,
MES systems (SAP ME as focus or others) & Ignition, Bartender, CIMCO…
Custom applicationsupport(developing/testing) and functionality implementation & automation
It is expected you have knowledge of databases and cansupportweb services and Account management. An interest in and understanding of manufacturing concepts is desirable. An applications development background will be highly regarded by using C#, Python, MS-SQL, Batch
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of delivery experiences, business development in industrial practice and development of MES solutions
• Understands and conversant in the Manufacturing and Products Industry issues, business process models and relevant digital technologies
• Experience in Internet of Things is desirable
• Experienced and knowledgeable in manufacturing execution systems, lean manufacturing, digital plants, computer-integrated manufacturing, manufacturing operations management
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and while multi-tasking
• Fluent in English.
