What youll do

Lead the seamless transition of applications from development to production, ensuring the smooth functioning of our products in production environments.
Assess the existing infrastructure and provide expert guidance on containerization and migration to Kubernetes (K8S) for efficient and scalable deployment.
Take charge of identifying and resolving security and performance concerns, prioritizing quality assurance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Implement and maintain best practices in container technologies, DevOps toolchains, and hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to optimize operational efficiency.
Handle technical tasks such as technical configuration & integration of SAP software, release upgrades, application lifecycle management, and day-to-day operations and maintenance of technical SAP landscapes.
Work on changing system setup/configuration guidelines, validating new applications, designing work instructions, driving automation initiatives, and conducting knowledge transfer to the global Operations community.
Collaborate with the ECS CTO SE Team/ Server Management Team to manage and implement container solutions for different products and services on a global scale.

What you bring

Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
Extensive knowledge of DevOps toolchains, architectural design across hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and DNS propagation from on-premises to hyperscaler DNS providers.
Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals.
Experience with SAP Gardener, GitOps technologies like Argo CD and Argo WF, Terraform, and scripting proficiency in Bash, Perl (preferred).
10 years of hands-on experience in IT technology services with a focus on containerization, DevOps, and hyperscaler platforms.
Proven track record in successful application deployment and maintenance in production environments.
Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
