Telecommunications Engineer  (SIP, Telecom, VOIP, network capacity planning,S BCs)- 4 to 8yrs-Bangalore/Pune/Chennai/Mumbai

Career professional role requiring high skill with extensive proficiency. Works independently with only administrative supervision and the ability to overcome major obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated or a senior peer needs to be consulted. Wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to provide guidance and cross-training to others. Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel

What you will be doing

• Handles customer requests for telecommunications support including moves, adds, changes, repairs and inquiries.

• Troubleshoots major telecommunications issues.

• Identifies and manages telecommunications projects.

• Provides design and software support for PBX, voice mail, voice network, and video systems.

• Manages vendor activities and verifies expenses relating to day-to-day support requirements.

• Participates on project teams for larger telecommunications project initiatives and periodically takes a lead project role.

• Defines and updates departmental telecommunications documentation and databases.

• Audits telecommunications expenses and may recommend expense reduction initiatives.

• Provides customer liaison role for day-to-day support activities and/or critical telecommunications functions.

• Proposes technical network and equipment system solutions for customer business requirements or cost reductions.

• Writes business correspondence for recommendations, project support and customer service purposes.

• Conducts customer meetings and one-on-one presentations regarding applicable communications systems.

What you bring

• Oracle SIP (SBCs, SMs, etc)

• Experience on SIP circuits, Oracle SBCs, gateways, VOIP and capacity planning

• Understanding of Telecom circuits and links

• Configuration Management (CM) Software Experience

• Issue Resolution Coordinator and Lead

• Experience on cloud ACD system configuration and administration

• Technical Troubleshooting contact center agent issues

• Voice Call flow design and implementation skills

• Handling the service request, Incident and change tickets

• Troubleshooting the voice issues and work with various stakeholders for resolution

• Coordination with business to understand the process requirements and providing necessary solutions

• Shift Timing : 2pm -11pm IST (UK shift)
