VP - Trade Operations - Stock Broking Vertical


Information Technology:
Assessing, implementing, and managing trading platforms, front office, back office, software tools, networking, server management, hardware integration, lease line, connectivity, co-location rack, P2P network connectivity, NSE, BSE approvals, CTCL/IBT management and other IT infrastructure to enhance trading performance and efficiency.

Collaborating with IT teams/third party vendor to develop and customize software (including back office and front office software) solutions tailored to the brokerage's needs.

Monitoring market data feeds, ensuring real-time access to accurate and reliable information for traders.

Conducting regular system audits, VAPT audit and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Risk Management:

- Monitoring margin requirement, responsible for BOD/EOD reporting, running of batch files and ensures that systems are ready for hassle free trading.

- Developing and implementing overall risk assessment frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate various types of risks associated with trading activities.

- Monitoring market trends, margins, regulatory changes, and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Establishing and enforcing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Conducting and ensuring the risk analysis on trading portfolios and recommending adjustments to optimize risk-return profiles.

Operations:

- Overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day trading and back end operational activities, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation processes etc.

- Streamlining operational workflows and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

- Customization of the back office software

- Liaising and coordinating with regulatory bodies, exchanges, and clearinghouses to ensure compliance with trade reporting and settlement requirements on routine basis.

- Extending all time support and guidance to traders and operational team w.r.t trading systems, procedures and compliance issues

- Providing MIS data to management, bankers and inter department on need to know basis.

Compliance:

- Ensuring the daily, weekly, quarterly, half yearly, Ad-hoc and annual reporting to NSE, BSE, MCX, NCL and CDSL etc

- Providing the inspection data on time to NSE/BSE/CDSL and audit data to internal auditor, system auditor, VAPT Auditor and statutory auditor etc

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Conducting regular compliance audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.

- Providing compliance training and guidance to employees on regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices

- Monitoring and investigating potential compliance breaches or violations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
