As a Risk Strategic Associate in Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. Chase Risk Management is seeking a highly motivated individual that can help drive risk data analysis, reporting, strategies and statistical models to the next level for our credit card, auto and business banking sectors. The data analytics associate will be responsible for data analysis, developing comprehensive analytics, and supporting various key initiatives utilizing data to evolve our reporting, strategies and statistical analysis. This individual will demonstrate strong people management skills, analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethics, and leverage sound judgment to effectively work in a fast pace and dynamic environment. Additionally, this individual will possess the ability to work with and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable analysis and provide a point of view to Chief Risk Officer level leadership.
Job responsibilities:
- Building the 'next generation' suite of data analytics
- Developing robust data and comprehensive analysis for senior management
- Identify and automate data routines to improve efficiency
- Expanding analytic and data capability for cards customers
- Executing the end-to-end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles
- Understands Agile and quality assurance concepts, data models, methodologies and documentation standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Business MIS.
- Minimum 3 years of data analytics experience
- Strong analytical skills, writing, and ability to turn data into useful information to inform decision making
- Experience with Business Intelligence concepts, developing strategies and statistical analysis
- Experience in writing advance SQL query.
- Must have Hands on experience with one or more of the following: SAS, Alteryx, or Tableau
- Strong people skills, communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of Python an added advantage.
- Experience in analytical storytelling skills
- Experience in Banking / Digital Banking preferred

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. We're proud to lead the U.S. in credit card sales and deposit growth and have the most-used digital solutions - all while ranking first in customer satisfaction.
Risk Management helps the firm understand, manage and anticipate risks in a constantly changing environment. The work covers areas such as evaluating country-specific risk, understanding regulatory changes and determining credit worthiness. Risk Management provides independent oversight and maintains an effective control environment.
