The Opportunity
The ESM R&D team is seeking an experienced Automation lead, to join our Global R&D team to deliver
innovative enterprise software solutions by working in a fast paced challenging and enriching
environment. This is a high-growth business, and our solutions are used by enterprise class highly
demanding customers across the globe. We are using a Microservices based architecture composed
of multiple services running on Kubernetes using Docker Containers.
As an Automation engineer,
Work with System team comprising of automa􀆟on and CICD engineers to Drive Quality and
efficiency for enterprise so􀅌ware applica􀆟on.
Develop and implement an effec􀆟ve automa􀆟on strategy to improve so􀅌ware delivery
efficiency.


You are good at
Understands customer environment and deployment architectures, drive be􀆩er quality with
acceptance tes􀆟ng in customer like environments.
Drive con􀆟nuous improvement in Quality and Dev efficiency via systemic process, Quality metrics
and automa􀆟on.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define tes􀆟ng objec􀆟ves, scope, and deliverables.
Iden􀆟fy and mi􀆟gate tes􀆟ng-related risks throughout the so􀅌ware development lifecycle.


What it takes
Educa􀆟on and Experience required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Informa􀆟on Systems, or equivalent.
Typically, 5+ to 8 years of experience
Mandatory Skills:
In-depth knowledge of so􀅌ware tes􀆟ng principles, methodologies, and best prac􀆟ces.
Proficiency in Java programming language
Proficiency in scrip􀆟ng languages (e.g., Shell script, Python)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Proficient in performance tes􀆟ng tools and methodologies with the capability to troubleshoot
performance issues spanning the en􀆟re stack, including front end, back end, and database
components.
Experience with test/performance automa􀆟on tools and frameworks e.g.: Cucumber, Selenium &
JMeter, LoadRunner
Excep􀆟onal understanding of database architecture and should be hands with DB tuning.
Strong customer focus and ready to delve into complex issues in customer environments to iden􀆟fy
root causes.
Knowledge of cloud-based tes􀆟ng environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with containeriza􀆟on and orchestra􀆟on tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent communica􀆟on and collabora􀆟on skills.
Leadership and mentoring experience.
Desirable Skills:
Relevant cer􀆟fica􀆟ons in DevOps, cloud pla􀆞orms, or related areas.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
