Position Purpose

Are you based in Jaipur and looking for an Accounting Internship in a hybrid working environment?  Our role is ideal for students or entry-level professionals pursuing a career in accounting.  Do you want to be part of an accounting team that delivers high quality accounting services to international clients?  Our role is busy and demanding but offers excellent opportunities to gain hands-on experience in various accounting tasks.

We're proud to be an Approved ACCA Employer.  Upon successfully completing your  internship, you should have enough experience for us to sign at least two ACCA Performance Objectives: PO6 – Record and process transactions; and PO2 – Stakeholder Relationship Management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Manage and maintain general ledgers, including handling high volumes of data entry and coding.
  2. Prepare and reconcile bank statements and submit draft financial reports and working papers to a team leaders for review and approval.
  3. Prepare payroll and maintain computerised fixed asset registers.
  4. Prepare and process sales invoices and enter suppliers’ tax invoices into clients' accounting systems.
  5. Maintain practice management reports and databases.
  6. Assist with other general bookkeeping and accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications, Required Skills and Experience

  1. Educational Background: Part-qualified ACCA/CA (or equivalent) - Essential.
  2. Certifications: Xero Accounting Software Certified.
  3. Experience: Some experience in an accounting environment.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  6. Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Client-Centric Approach: Client-centric mindset with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
  8. Attributes: Enthusiastic, well-organised, able to work in a reactive and fast-paced environment and prepared to work hard.
  9. Software Proficiency: Proficient with MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Dropbox, Google Drive.
