The Senior Manager, Software Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for leading Service R&D Software Engineering team to enable remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.

This is a senior leadership position and is part of the Global Service R&D Organization located in Bengaluru and will be an Onsite role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Drive the design and development of Service software for new and on-market products and ensure that all software associates, processes, and products remain aligned with Cytivaâs own internal procedures

  • Independently own and drive multiple critical work streams; this includes vision/direction setting, overseeing the overall planning and execution toward clear objectives with measurable key results

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership on multiple fronts (architecture/design, code reviews, and incident management) to your reports

  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring their growth and career progression.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelorâs degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience OR Masterâs/Doctoral degree with 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years leading people

  • Hands-on software engineering skills applied at the instrument, workstation, and enterprise levels for embedded and cloud applications, and the full stack of skills from the user interface to business logic, to the database, to network, to embedded software

  • C++, C# .NET, WPF/ WCF and RDBMS, HTML knowledge.

  • Ability to develop strong teams, strategically deploy resources, and enable a positive team culture

  • Experience in software delivery through CI/CD pipeline in Azure

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry

  • Worked in a similar senior position with highly performing teams

  • Experience in Continuous Delivery (CD)

  • GMP & regulatory environments

  • QMS and Documentation Practices
