Role Summary & Role Description

We are looking for Oracle ERP Cloud Development Manager responsible for migrating a global financial institution from legacy R12 E-Business Suite to Oracle ERP Cloud in a dynamic and fast paced environment.  Role includes working across domains with business stakeholders and implementation partners to analyze and guide the overall solution.  Successful candidate will need both technical and  functional skillsets to excel in taking on challenges. 

  • Manage the Oracle Cloud ERP Hub Development work stream including the analysis, design, and implementation of new functions on the cloud platform.  Work closely with US based development team to review, scope, prioritize work with our business partners, and manage execution/delivery.
  • Work with Integration Leads to standardize the integration patterns for on-prem to/from Oracle Cloud.  Review designs for new integrations.
  • Collaborate with Finance to analyze, design, and implement functionality across Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses) and Procurement (Sourcing, Contracts, Spend Analytics).
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Information Security policies are adhered to in compliance with Corporate Standards.
  • Assess inefficient business processes and propose solutions to streamline business delivery. Leverage generative AI where it provides real business benefit.
  • Communicate technical and functional concepts to business users to facilitate decision making.
  • Partner with external vendors to solution end product. 
  • Work with other application, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to design and deliver solutions.
  • Support QA test teams to resolve issues and address performance issues.
  • Ensure that application delivery complies with standard development process.  We are in a highly regulated environment.

Document overall technical architecture capturing security profile, data flow diagrams, integrations, and disaster recovery planning

Core/Must have skills

Minimum 12+ years of experience in Oracle ERP as Development Manager with 5+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS) for a global company. 

Hands on experience on Oracle E-Business Suite, working on Finance modules (AP, AR, FA, CM, GL)  as well as the Procurement modules.

Several implementations of moving from E-Business Suite to Oracle Finance Cloud and Oracle Procurement Cloud in a leadership role.  Demonstrable experience implementing large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud solutions for a global organization (preferably in the Finance/Insurance industry).

Experience in integrating ERP Cloud with other systems using middleware, Webservices, and REST APIs using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Strong knowledge of Finance business processes, a clear understanding of standard methodologies, using Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EBS.

Team Management and ability to motivate the team and mentor junior resources.  Able to adapt to changing priorities as business needs dictate

Good to have skills

Agile experience is a plus. Use of modern methodologies to increase the speed of delivering software (e.g., Agile, DevOps, test automation, etc.)
