Role Summary:

As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  1. Should have thorough product knowledge

  2. Good at Statistical Quality Control

  3. Able to do Non Destructive Testing (MPT, DPT)

  4. Should know relevant standards – ASTM, ASME, IEC, FCI and SPP’s

  5. Customer coordination and test approvals

  6. Ability to initiate corrective and preventive action plan.

  7. Independently handle the third party / Customer Inspectors.

  8. Review of Project documents and preparation of Internal test reports.

  9. Should be able to compile final documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  1. Good Communication Skills.

  2. QMS Awareness

  3. Internal Auditor Training

  4. ISO 9001-2008 Standard Interpretation

  5. 6’s and Safety

  6. BE Mechanical /Diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience in Valve Industry
