Network & Links:
The Selected candidate will work with a highly motivated team involved in validation of complex application software with Kubernets and microservices. The candidate will join with our Bangalore development center and will be part of Core Platforms & Products team in Bangalore reporting to PM of the DC.


ROLE : V&V Architect
As a Validation Architect, candidate will work to validate application software with kubernets and microservices. The candidate will demonstrate that syste, software or software components fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated).
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Architect, candidate will work work with a highly motivated team involved in development of complex application software. .The candidate will demonstrate that software or software components fulfils its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated).Candidate will interface with system, program, and quality teams to meetcommitments for quality, cost and delivery.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Validation Architect he/she will interface with system, program, and qualityteams to meet commitments for quality, cost and delivery and will execute followingresponsibilities:
1. Define the Test strategy and Test Plan, Estimation and delivery schedule
2. Specify, design and develop the validation environment & tools(Web/desktop applications, VM, test bench, OS, tools installation etc)
3. Ensure requirements traceability according to Requirements ManagementPlan
4. Integrate components from various development team, perform integrationand prepare validation platform
5. Use automation scripts, batch files to automate the integration andvalidation tasks
6. Produce validation result reports and associated Change Requests(defects)
7. Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions
8. Keep a strong link with the architects and designers through the wholeSoftware Validation cycle
9. Apply organization processes and standards

EDUCATION:
Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent
 

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation ofcode libraries, reusable codes, and model-based developments, He should beagile and adaptive to Project dynamics
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influenceand convince others in a matrix organization.
Good Team player and have ownership towards assigned task &deliveries


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

1. 11+ years of experience in Software Testing, Requirement Based Testing.
2. Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing
3. Good knowledge of testing techniques like black box, boundary value analysis, Robustness analysis 
4. Understanding of regression analysis
5. Knowledge of any configuration management tool like ClearCase etc..
6. Knowledge of any bug reporting tool like Bugzilla ,Clear Quest etc..
7. Experience in writing script using Python, Shell and work experinceon Linux/Ubuntu, kubernets/microservices platforms is a huge plus
8. Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is an added advantage
 

SOFTWARE SKILLS:
Good knowledge in software validation and their related integrated development environment
Protocols –TCP/IP, SNMP
Standards: CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178
Familiarity with use of automation scripts, batch files to automate theintegration and validation tasks
