The role

Postgres DBA

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Administrator (DBA) specializing in PostgreSQL and SQL Server to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our databases. The role involves database design, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting to support our organization's data management needs.

Responsibilities:

Database Management:
Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
Design, implement, and manage database schemas, tables, indexes, and views.
Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and recovery procedures.

Performance Tuning:
Monitor database performance and recommend optimizations for efficient query execution.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal database performance.
