Job Summary:

As an Associate of the Markets Asset Servicing Operations Income team, you would need to provide centralized asset servicing support across multiple products like across Prime Services, Equities and Fixed Income supporting collection / payment of income events with client / counterparties / Depo Recon across different region / Markets (EMEA and WHEM Markets). Collaborate with internal Global stakeholders including trading desks, sales, finance and other operations team to manage exceptions and resolve risk items proactively. Work in partnership with clients, custodians, agents, and 3rd party service providers to manage day-to-day Depot reconciliation issues.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage business, process & stakeholders

  • Ensure timely and accurate management of Income events, collection / payment of claims, timely reconciliation cash & wash accounts across APAC/EMEA/WHEM regions for Fixed Income / Equity and Prime Business.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients / internal stakeholder for all escalations and ensure adequate coverage by service teams
  • Escalate production-related issues, ensuring continuity of service while simultaneously managing effective resolution with key stakeholders
  • Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the functions managed
  • Drive process improvement / automation initiatives
  • Manage team's daily work volumes and transactions accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedure


Manage Risk

  • Maintain documented procedures and ensure adherence to and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirement


Manage People

  • Provide oversight, training, guidance to the team and ensure effective x training


Manage change

  • Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity


Manage Client

  • Act as a subject matter expert on procedural matters, and be the funnel for communication with the global teams


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :

  • ~6 - 9 years of relevant experience in Securities Operations - Asset Servicing Income and Corporate Action activities with in-depth knowledge of Depot Income Reconciliation , Claims, Cash, Stock and Wash Reconciliation
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues
  • Problem solving skills - the candidate must demonstrate exceptional judgment and the ability to independently identify and escalate key issues, obtain appropriate information form further analysis, and develop actionable recommendations


Preferred Qualifications, Certifications, and Technical Skills :

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
