WHAT YOU'LL DO
Business Intelligence and Analytics Services Hub is a centralized global reporting and analytics capability. This hub greatly enhances how our management consumes and uses information in driving better business outcomes. This team is an integral part of BCGâs Global Enterprise Services providing insights & analysis supported by meaningful and accurate information to help guide and influence the decision-making process.
As an analyst, you will be working closely with the lead as a thought partner for one or more business areas with a focus on bringing insights to light through data analysis and visualization. The analyst will be responsible for managing & delivering day to day standard /ad hoc responsibilities related to financial reporting and analytics needs, using relevant data tools, reporting environment and dashboards for BCG. Work towards finding opportunities to innovate, identify process improvements & efficiencies through advanced skills in digital reporting & analytics tools. Support in analytics transformation including profiling legacy reporting and providing next generation solutions that simplify the end-user experience while providing greater insights.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Data & Analytics
  • Working Experience of data & analytics enabling business intelligence and decision making.
  • Strong advanced excel skills along with capability of storytelling through PowerPoint or similar tools
  • Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with visualization & analytics tools (such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) would be an added advantage.
Problem solving and analytical tasks
  • Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models and bring clarity to previously undefined problems
  • Desire and flexibility to work through big data sets with keen attention to accuracy and interdependencies
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, complex and in an iterative environment
  • Identify and support process improvement within the team or in cross functional initiatives

  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and changing situations with tact, poise, and patience

  • Ability to contribute to multiple work streams at once and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and seeks assistance as appropriate in day-to-day operations
  • Familiarity or willingness to work on Agile methodology will be a plus

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in data and analytics
  • MBA or equivalent from a premier institute
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and oral
  • Flexible to work across time zones.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization.
