Manager Logistics Facility (O&M), TSK

- The main role is to maintain all rail track, OHE and S&T (O&M) from nearby Railway Junc. to plant premises and within plant premises, Tata Steel, Kalinganagar. Operation, maintenance, and all statutory norms (Legal Metrology/Railways/NESCO etc) static and in motion weighbridge under logistics operation, TSK. Overseeing the carriage and wagon maintenance under logistics operation. All rail-road drop gate operation and maintenance. Maintenance of all road traffic signal post within TSK premises. This role leads to smooth functioning of road and rake movements of Logistics Operations, TSK.

- Maintenance of Railway Track Network of around 100 TKM consisting of about 150 nos. of Points and Crossings inside and outside KPO Steel Works.

- Oversee maintenance of other logistic facilities like re-railing equipment, level crossings, drop gates, Traffic lights etc.

- Need to be very versatile of trouble shooting Problems related to Track Circuits/Axle Counters/EI System/Drop Gates/Outdoor and Indoor Signaling Gears and also P Way related activities like Auto Level Machine checking w.r.t Alignment and level, Curve Reading w.r.t Versine and Super Elevation also Manual checking w.r.t. Gauge and level.

- Need deep understanding about Statcon IPS, Siemens, KYOSAN EI System, Efftronics Data Logger for S&T Operation and Maintenance and also need to possess deep understanding of wagon maintenance activities (such as changing of EM Pad, Spring, Pu Pad, CC pad, CBC, Knuckle, Knuckle pin, Yoke pin, Brake shoe, Brake hose pipe, Brake block ,Brake key, CBC wear plate, Rubbing plate & Liner plate welding)

- Should have capability to understand & deliver job related to all Railway signaling system terminologies, Electronic interlocking System, SSI, RRI, Automatic Signaling, OFC, Panel Interlocking etc. Person should well be conversant with Indoor Circuit Diagram for RRI, cable Core Plan, Location, Point wiring Diagram, outdoor location wiring diagram, Preparation of Route Control Chart, Track Circuiting, etc.

- Having knowledge in co-related jobs with S&T like P-way (Point & Crossing, Glued joint provision etc., OHE (Bonding plan and AT connection and SCADA connectivity, etc., and General Electrical.

- Sound knowledge in Signalling works (indoor & outdoor works like: relay rack, CT rack, point machines, MSDAC, DC track circuit, colour light signal, IPS, L C gate, Relays, location box, cable laying, Diamond crossing, non-Interlocking works etc.)

- Should be capable to independently look into checking of the design, signalling review of concept design, testing, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of Electronics Interlocking systems.

- Should have good communication & liasioning with concerned officials of Indian Railways in managing Signalling system & drive Rail related projects.

- Develop manpower for Loco, re-railing Van and Jacks, weighbridges for smooth operation.- Facilitating inbound rakes movement inside/outside, all necessary drain cleaning, Tree/Grass Cutting, development of Pathway, Brake Pressure for GDR activities etc..

- Inventory management of all P Way, S&T, OHE, Road and IMWB's, Drop gates, Traffic Lights etc.

- C&W related to all rolling stocks in consultation with Indian Railways and IBL for reducing the reviving time as per the permissible time limit.

- Ensure optimum availability & reliability of Track Network.

- Coordinate with Indian Railways/ Legal Metrology/ NESCO.

- Provide Technical Support & Solution for chronic and repetitive problems.

- Ensure job quality through introduction of new technologies and best practices in the area of Logistics Facility and inbound Operation.

- Plan day to day maintenance activities and review compliance
