Your role and responsibilities

Performing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) using modeling software like Simapro, Gabi or others
Documenting of technical outputs
Creating Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for identified products and assisting in environmental certification activities
Performing assigned tasks including definition, approach, analysis, review and implementation on schedule and within budget
Contributing in the identification and implementation of the ecodesign principles applicable to new product design with the goal of optimize the environmental performances with life cycle thinking approach

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in electrical or mechanical or relevant sciences
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in R&D with exposure to product design and development, quality, value engineering, costing, preferably of electrical distribution and control products like ACB, MCCB, MCB, Contactors, or Switches
  • Experience in LCA modeling software (SimaPro as a plus)
  • Experience on Ecodesign and life cycle thinking
  • Proficient in CAD Tools like Creo, CATIA V5, Pro/ENGINEER etc. and PLM / ERP software
  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated mindset and ability to work independently
  • Highly motivated teamplayer with a collaborative, learning & solutionsoriented approach, and strong communication skills
