As a Mechatronics Systems & Control Engineer, you will be part of the Emerging digital technologies cluster in the ZF - Corporate Research and Development (R&D) division. 

You would be responsible for:

  • Mathematical-based modelling and simulation of mechatronic systems (e.g. Chassis systems)
  • Using models to analyse and improve consistency of technical solution
  • Develop and analyze algorithms to control/ enhance performance of mechatronic systems
  • Support improving methods for systems modelling and optimization
  • System analysis for the determination and analysis of stakeholder needs, development of system requirements and mapping of the analysis results
  • Definition of the interfaces to the higher system level and to external systems (system context) with internal and external contacts.
  • Independent definition, review, development and approval of the work packages from projects.
  • Provide advice and support to product development teams

 

Your Qualifications:

    • Completed degree in control engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physical technology or a comparable subject
    • Min. 4. - 7. years of professional experience – preferably in system development.
    • Experience in the field of mathematical-based systems simulation/ modelling
    • Experience in optimization, statistics and sensitivity analysis
    • Good application knowledge in control theory
    • Good application knowledge of Matlab
    • Konwledge in Phyton preferred
    • Experience in function development and rapid function prototyping (nice-to_have)
    • Knowledge of system engineering according to ISO15288 or INCOSE
