Designation: Deputy Manager â LCPA â Compliance Operations

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing high quality business solutions in an agile context, that deliver valued business outcomes and facilitate informed decisions.
  • Building sustainable and repeatable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of service and execution.
  • Researching and monitoring the external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company (e.g. regulations impacting business operations, documentation standards and change management methodologies)

Maintaining working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that business activities are aligned to company compliance policy and procedures. Must possess analytical skills to effectively analyze data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights to support compliance efforts.Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities to identify compliance issues, propose solutions, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks.Must exhibit high ethical standards and integrity in your work, as compliance professionals handle sensitive information and make critical decisions.Should be familiar with compliance software (Bridger), data analysis tools, and other relevant technologies used in the compliance field.Responsibilities as a People Manager include:Recruiting and Onboarding: Actively recruit top talent, conduct interviews, and oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.Employee Development: Create and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to employees.Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and address employee concerns or grievances in a fair and timely manner.Employee Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.Culture Building: Foster a positive work culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.Policy and Compliance: Stay updated on labor laws and regulations and ensure that HR policies and procedures are compliant and effectively communicated to employees.Team Building: Facilitate team-building activities and initiatives to promote teamwork, communication, and morale within the organization.Succession Planning: Identify and nurture talent within the organization for key roles through succession planning and talent development programs.Data Analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to make informed decisions, track key metrics, and identify trends related to employee performance, engagement, and retention.What you need to have: 4 - 8 years of compliance operations experienceExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsFluent in English orally and in writingExperience working with global stakeholders and cultures.What makes you stand out?Knowledge of G&E policies, M&A conflict check, Project ManagementAbility to communicate well with Global LeadersDemonstrated ability to facilitate large groups across multiple disciplinesAn inquisitive mind that is not afraid to question current ways of thinkingComing up with creative solutions to business problemsKnowledge of advance excel and power BIMercer believes in building brighter futures by redefining the world of work, reshaping retirement and investment outcomes, and unlocking real health and well-being.
