What you'll do

As a Motion Graphics and Video Designer you will work on a cross-functional team to create communication materials while sticking to SAP’s overall brand strategy and style. The ideal candidate will require flexibility in that the workload will be split between designing motion design and video editing. You will be tasked to work on a variety of projects including marketing videos, customer interviews, and social media teasers. Our ideal candidate is someone who can think creatively about how to display content in an aesthetically pleasing, on brand and professional way.

 

These are some of the responsibilities you will have:

  • Animate videos and GIFs for thought leadership and social media content
  • Edit short explainer videos
  • Create graphic or Mogart templates to be used by other team members and clients
  • Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
  • Develop interactive presentations following SAP corporate design principles
  • Design personalized customer facing content
  • Research design trends, and industry best practices

 

What you bring

 

  • Be enrolled in university or have a degree in Motion Graphics, Visual Design, or Film (T1)
  • 1-3 years experience working in design capacity in business, strategy, or technology
  • Ability to turn complex issues into simple, understandable, and well-designed visuals
  • Comprehend time-consumption and effort of different types of requests to effectively manage the team and clients’ expectations, as well as establishing well-defined parameters for our stakeholders
  • Must have a thorough understanding of design principles including composition, visual hierarchy, color, and balance
  • Must have a portfolio of that reflects motion graphics or video work
  • Have a hands-on attitude and be proactive with communicating
  • Be able to meet tight deadlines and quickly adapt
  • Excitement about informative and informational online video content
  • Have a firm grasp of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premier Pro, and motion graphics software
  • 3D animation experience and illustration skills are a plus
  • Have discipline to work independently and remotely
  • Manage and prioritize multiple design projects and fast deadlines
  • Fluency in English
