Position Title: Country Manager - Healthcare Equipment

Reporting To: Regional General Manager and CEO

Location: Tanzania

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our healthcare equipment sales team. The Country Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market share in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager will lead by example, motivating and guiding their team to achieve and exceed sales targets while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the healthcare sector.

2. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.

3. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to sales team members to improve performance and enhance selling skills.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.

5. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and segments.

6. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop effective sales tools, promotional materials, and product messaging.

7. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.

8. Analyze sales data and generate regular reports to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.

9. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with key customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.

10. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote our products and services and build brand awareness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Bio Medical Engineering or similar , Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the healthcare industry.

3. Strong understanding of healthcare equipment sales processes, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques.

4. Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and team members.

6. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

7. Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

8. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.

9. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close deals.

Experience:

- 10 years' experience in dealing with Technical equipment.

- Previous experience in Sales nationally in both private and public healthcare sectors.

- Knowledge of the local, regional and international markets will be an added advantage.

- Willingness to travel locally, regionally and internationally.
