Job title:
Software Technologist I/II - C#

Your role:

  • Design and implementation of software (on component or module level)âunderstand and communicate consequences of your design on the architecture and influence design specification;
  • Design software on the basis of design specifications in accordance, to ensure that the software will be reliable, efficient, user-friendly, easy to maintain and meet the (medical) quality and coding standards;
  • Implement class, unit integration and unit tests for the designed modules or components;
  • Contribute to the quality and maintainability of our software stack which has to be maintained for a long time (10+ years).
  • Perform work in-line with processes / quality system;
  • Contributing to the unit interfaces (SW), in close consultation with relevant disciplines;
  • Initiatives and active participation for continuous improvement and Agile / Safe / Scrum process.


You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)

  • At least a Bachelor degree in SW Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience band of 5-9 years in software design and development
  • Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle: requirements,  design, implementation, test and integration
  • Experience with C#, WPF and SOLID principles
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as agile (SAFE), scrum and the V-model
  • Design and implementation of software (on component or module level)âunderstand and communicate consequences of your design on the architecture and influence design specification;
  • Design software on the basis of design specifications in accordance, to ensure that the software will be reliable, efficient, user-friendly, easy to maintain and meet the (medical) quality and coding standards;
  • Implement class, unit integration and unit tests for the designed modules or components;
  • See the challenge in working with a very large codebase (new and legacy code) that will need new features added or embedded in existing code, updates, (bug)fixing, improvements.
  • Good communication in English (both written and verbal)
  • Personality skills to collaborate with colleagues from different teams/levels and think across functional borders
  • A lean/pragmatic attitude who can drive change and continuously seeks improvements and ways to reduce âwasteâ
  • Interest in development of software in a controlled regulated environment
  • Experience in working in a healthcare product development environment is an advantage
