Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and working experience in LTE/UMTS/GPRS/VoIP/IMS/P/I/S-CSCF/HSS/EIR/MNP/HLR/SDL Primarily Nokia)
  • Good understanding of Wireless Operator’s end-end Network architecture/Protocols and Interfaces
  • Understanding of Rel 15 and Rel 16 3GPP standards
  • Extensive Working experience with SIP Call processing and SIP Supplementary Services.

Preferred:

  • In-depth understanding of Telecom Protocols and technologies like SIP, SDP, H.248, MGCP, DIAMETER etc.
  • Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing
  • Understanding of Software testing Life cycle
  • Working knowledge in Automation testing using any framework
  • Good Knowledge in TCP/UDP, IP protocols and understanding of basic OSI model
  • Knowledge of Database (Oracle, Informix, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Cloud computing- OpenStack, K8S

English - Mandatory, Fluent speaking, writing, reading.

Japanese - Optional

Work Description:

  • QA engineer using specialist technical skills where appropriate, responsible for producing the test plan for impacted systems and services like coordinating, planning, executing, and documenting test activities ensure that new and changed network technology services/systems meet requirements
  • Responsible for the integration plan, test specifications and scripts, test execution, defect management and the coordination of the environment design and deployment
  • Call flow analysis
  • Independent in analyzing the testing requirements, perform requirements review, preparing test scenarios/ test cases, run test cases/ report & follow up on defects
  • Maintain up to date test log covering defects, issues and concerns to be able to mitigate risks and issues taking accountability for the verification of new or modified systems or services introduced.
  • Participate and contribute to the project & technical calls. Possess good written and oral communication
  • Provide ideas for improvements

Tools:

  • Wireshark, test simulators-spirent , automation Tools/ frameworks
  • ECA/EDA analysis and Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma
  • ISTQB, QMS knowledge and experiences
