Job Title: QA Automation EngineerLocation: BangaloreExperience: 1–3 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewWe are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of applications by working closely with developers, product teams, and QA leads.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Identify and document bugs with clear reproducible steps.Implement best QA practices and contribute to continuous improvement.Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines related to automated testing (preferred).Required Skills & Qualifications1–3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar.Experience with programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc.Familiarity with testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, etc.).Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.Good to HaveExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
