About the Job:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic sports marketing team. As a key creative force, you will collaborate with the founding team to bring to life visually compelling materials that resonate with athletes, fans, and sports enthusiasts across various digital and offline platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


Creative Collaboration:

  • Work closely with art directors to develop innovative design concepts, layouts, and artwork tailored for sports-related projects.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative input that enhances our sports campaigns and fan engagement strategies.


Design & Production:

  • Assist in the creation and production of digital and print designs, including social media content, event banners, team logos, fan merchandise, and other sports marketing collaterals.
  • Design and edit images, illustrations, and visual elements using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant software.
  • Prepare files for print, ensuring all printed materials maintain high quality, particularly for sports memorabilia, merchandise, and promotional items.


Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of design trends, particularly within the sports industry, to ensure that the content you create for our clients remains fresh, relevant, and visually impactful.
  • Continuously seek inspiration and incorporate the latest design trends into your work, helping clients push the boundaries of their visual identities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies, particularly within the sports marketing domain.


Workflow Co-ordination:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced sports environment.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, particularly when working on designs showcased on a large scale, such as stadium banners or national campaigns.
  • Work across 2-4 sports brands simultaneously, ensuring each brand’s unique identity and message is visually represented.


Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members, ensuring that all design work meets the expectations of our sports-focused clientele.


Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, with a strong interest or experience in sports marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with examples of sports-related projects being a plus.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a creative agency or a sports marketing environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, particularly under the fast-paced conditions typical of the sports industry.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sports marketing agency or within the sports industry.
  • Experience with digital media, including social media, email marketing, and web design, particularly within sports campaigns.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite software, with a focus on creating visually engaging content for sports brands.
