Senior Investment Strategist

We are seeking a highly passionate and skilled investment strategist to join our team. This role is suitable for candidates with 7+ years of experience in research, product, or business development functions within mutual funds, advisory, wealth management, private banks, financial media, or rating agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Conceptualization and Development:

  • Identify market needs and opportunities to develop mutual fund investment strategies. 
  • Conduct feasibility studies and market research to validate concepts.
  • Design features, strategies, and structures in collaboration. 

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor products, and investor preferences.
  • Gather insights from mutual fund distributors advisors, clients, and industry reports to build relevant investment strategies.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all communication and development comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including tech, marketing, sales, and operations, to develop and launch Mutual Fund strategies.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as Mutual fund companies, partners, and vendors.

MF Investment Strategy Launch and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute product launch plans, including marketing strategies, sales training, and communication plans.
  • Oversee the implementation of new products, ensuring all operational aspects are in place.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor the performance of mutual fund products against benchmarks and objectives.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the product lifecycle from inception to maturity, including product enhancements, repositioning, and closures.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess product performance and relevance in the market.

Investor Communication:

  • Develop and update investment strategies literature.
  • Communicate product features, performance, and updates to internal team and distribution partners.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to sales teams and Mutual Fund distributors on product features and benefits.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance product knowledge.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage risks associated with investment strategies 


Requirements

  • Education background: 
  • Preferably CA, CFA, MBA, Post Graduate or PhD in Economics or Finance
