Department Director - SE" to lead our System Engineering team

🌟 We're Hiring Join Our Team as a Department Director 🌟


We're seeking a dynamic "Department Director - SE" to lead our System Engineering team for India, Bangalore location


This role works with the ASIC team to develop next generation automotive MCUs and SoCs for automotive computing, targeted at strategic OEMs’ E/EA. It also works on HPC platform, which involves extraordinary signal integrity and power integrity design challenges. It is also responsible for package level design and system level signal integrity, power integrity analysis and validation, in particular for high-speed serial interfaces/serdes interfaces, memory interface, etc.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with ASIC design engineers to optimize and validate system SI/PI designs including package design, system PCB, cable harness, modules, etc.

2. Supervise MCU/SOC package and PCB physical design with optimized power integrity and signal integrity on high-speed interfaces and power integrity layout optimization

3. Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity

4. Work with cross functional team and vendor on high-speed interconnect design, including advanced packaging, connector, socket, cable, etc.

5. Work with design and validation team to bringup prototype and debug power supply module, memory and high-speed interfaces

6. Work with foundry partner on advanced package technology for example CoWos, InFo or even chiplet technology for automotive HPC SoC


🎓 Qualifications:

1. BS/MSEE/Ph.D. in electrical engineering with relevant actual product design and validation experience in automotive applications (for 15 years or above will be a plus)

2. Solid understanding of system and package level SI and PI and electromagnetic theory

3. Prior design and SI/PI modeling experience with high-speed serial interfaces, memory interfaces, and power integrity analysis is mandatory

4. Familiarity with plan on lab equipment, such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, etc.

5. Experience in leading team members with lab correlation and validation of SI/PI simulation results and debugging and lab measurement

6. Good communication/management skills and self-motivation

7. Management experience with teams across different territories is a plus
