Senior Automation Test Engineer

Are you a passionate and experienced Automation Test Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further Yotta Techports Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Test Automation Framework definition, design, and development.
  • Experience in Selenium Web driver, Selenium RC, and Selenium Grid using Java.
  • Ability to write, debug and run the Automation scripts on their own based on the given requirements.
  • Knowledge of implementing DevOps Oriented Automation Frameworks using OpenStack tools like Java, Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Maven & Testing.
  • Knowledge of hosting for software development and version control using Git.
  • Experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
  • Experience in API testing using REST Assured.
  • REST API Automation experience, TDD & BDD framework.
  • Experience in Agile Application Development concepts.
  • Experience and Strong understanding of Sprints/Agile and track in Kanban/Scrum as needed.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and the role of QA in every stage.
  • Planning and coordinating test activities, hands-on experience in converting user stories/use cases into test cases covering all scenarios.
  • Knowledge of any Test Management tools like JIRA Xray, Jira QMetry &, etc.
  • Testing techniques include functional, regression, sanity/smoke, batch, and system testing.
  • Expected to know QA best practices, CI/CD concepts, etc.
  • Understanding of Performance testing concepts.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills.
  • Collaborative decision-making and good judgment, Strong time, interpersonal, and people skills.
  • Experience with client-server environments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with development and product teams to drive testability into the software development process.
  • Continuously improve test automation infrastructure and coverage.
  • Research, recommend, and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in automation principles and practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Telecom Domain Knowledge.
  • Order Management and CRM Applications Knowledge.
  • eCommerce Online Ordering Knowledge.
  • Cross-Browser and Mobile Device testing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of UI development and content management system tools like Craft CMS, React, Sitecore, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Proficiency in testing web-based applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
