Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, MERN stack, python, git, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement secure, performant, and scalable APIs to support Web3, and DeFi applications.
  • Architect and optimise database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in web3, DeFi and blockchain projects.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and MERN stack.
  • In-depth understanding of blockchain technology and experience with DeFi protocols.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket programming.
  • Proficient in database design and management, particularly with NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of security principles and how to apply them in applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with other backend frameworks and languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Familiarity with smart contract development and Solidity.
  • Knowledge of other blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Cosmos.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of relevant work.
  • Familiarity with decentralised applications (dApps) and NFT platforms.
