Role Overview:

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly available and scalable infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to automate deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless performance across global systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Reliability & Scalability: Manage and optimize Nomad, Docker, Consul, and HAProxy to ensure system stability.

Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, integration, and operational efficiencies.

Cloud & Network Management: Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on network design and cloud migration.

Monitoring & Observability: Implement and manage Grafana and Splunk for real-time monitoring and incident detection.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.

Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing tools, frameworks, and deployment strategies to maximize efficiency.

CI/CD & Deployment Efficiency: Work closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Security & Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

5+ years of experience in a similar role with expertise in Nomad, Docker, Consul, and HAProxy.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, particularly AWS, including networking and migration projects.

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure management.

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk.

Experience in incident response, on-call support, and post-mortem analysis.

Strong troubleshooting skills in infrastructure, networking, and application performance.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
