KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


▪Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure.

▪Ensure software is designed for high availability, reliability, scalability, and performance. ▪Create and maintain application architecture and solution design documents.

▪Providing technical leadership to the application development team

▪Performing design and code reviews to ensure standards and best practices are followed.

▪ Investigate and lead new technology adoption

▪Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software ▪Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•10 years’ experience in software engineering with a degree; 12-15 years’ experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

•3-5 years of experience as a software application architect for enterprise level external customer facing web-based applications.

•7+ years of experience designing and developing software applications

•5+ year of Experience in C# and the .NET Framework/ .Net Core

•5+ years as a SQL Server DBA / Data Engineer in a large enterprise environment

•4+ years of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS experience

•2+ years of Power BI experience

•3+ years of experience with writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server environment


Skills & Competencies:


•Experience working on large-scale software projects

•Experience in architecting systems involving large volume of data

•3+ years’ experience with a microservices architecture

•Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and open source technologies

•Experience overseeing development of multiple projects simultaneously

•Experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them

•Deep experience building web-based applications and RESTful API’s

•Experience with database design and data modeling

•Expertise in using design and refactoring patterns

•Experience in integrating applications with existing systems.

•Expert knowledge in the following technologies: .Net/C#, SQL Server, Javascript, CSS, HTML, REST API’s, XLM and UI Frameworks Angular and/or React, Message Bus and Cloud Technology - Azure (Preferred), AWS.

•Expertise with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), high-speed data transfers.

•Expertise in creating Dash boards using Power BI.

Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets. •Experience with CI/CD tools and Version Control tools

•Experience with SOA and Microservice architecture.

•Experience with development of cloud-ready applications.

•Experience with web application development/single page application development (Preferable using Angular)
