Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.


Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns (income tax, GST, etc.).

4. Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls, identify areas of risk, and recommend improvements.

5. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.

6. Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

7. Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies as needed.

8. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices.

9. Support special projects and initiatives related to financial management, process improvement, and business expansion.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance..
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
