About the Role:
411 Locals is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Enterprise Architect to join the leadership team. As a key member of the executive team reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the CTO will collaborate with IT leadership, Explore leaders, and operational leaders across 411 Locals’ divisions to deliver both internal and external technology solutions that are critical for achieving our business goals. These goals include transitioning to a SaaS model, creating a marketplace solution where customers can select and manage digital marketing products and services, and enhancing our non-voice purchasing platform (e-commerce) through web and mobile applications (including PWA) development.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Vision & Roadmap: Develop and implement a strategic vision and roadmap for transitioning the 411 Locals business model to a SaaS-based approach, integrating the creation of a marketplace for digital marketing solutions, and expanding our non-voice purchasing platform.
- Marketplace & E-commerce Solutions: Lead the design and deployment of a comprehensive marketplace solution that allows customers to select, manage, and purchase digital marketing products and services, available via both web and mobile platforms (PWA). Ensure seamless integration with existing e-commerce functionalities.
- SaaS & Web Development: Oversee the development and iteration of SaaS applications, web development projects, and mobile solutions, ensuring alignment with company growth strategies and customer needs.
- AI & Automation: Identify, develop, and implement AI-driven system automations to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, especially within the newly developed marketplace and non-voice e-commerce platforms.
- Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with internal clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of technology initiatives, with a focus on meeting business growth objectives.
- Performance & Optimization: Establish best-practice dashboards, KPIs, and measurements to ensure that all IT investments in new technology and processes deliver measurable results. Continuously evaluate and optimize IT systems to support growth, expansion, and cost reduction.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all IT operations, including compliance, policies, and procedures for new technologies, are documented and reported appropriately. Maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality in all data management.
- Special Projects: Lead and execute special projects, including global initiatives, as assigned by the leadership team.
Knowledge & Experience
- Leadership Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with at least 3+ years in senior-level leadership roles. Proven experience in managing cross-functional IT teams and delivering enterprise-level projects.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of information technology and IT services, including SaaS, AI, e-commerce platforms, and cybersecurity practices. Experience in building and improving SaaS products, web development, mobile applications (PWA), and marketplace solutions.
- Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing enterprise-level IT projects, with a focus on SaaS, e-commerce, and marketplace solutions.
- Technology Stack: High-level knowledge of software development using open-source technologies such as PHP, Python, MySQL, and Git. Familiarity with Linux server architecture, LAMP environments, communications devices and protocols, AI, Big Data management, and cloud-based services (AWS preferred).
- Industry Trends: Up-to-date knowledge of current AI trends, tools, and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on integrating these into SaaS, mobile, and web-based solutions.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
