Godrej and Boyce manufacturing company Ltd. has made a strategic investment in Urban Electric Power (www.urbanelectricpower.com). Urban Electric Power (UEP) is commercializing a breakthrough Zinc anode battery technology for stationery energy storage applications, originally developed by the City University of New York (CUNY) energy institute. Created from the same environmentally sustainable materials as disposable alkaline batteries, UEP's innovative rechargeable batteries offer a safer, lower-cost, high-performance alternative to lead acid and Li-ion batteries. JOB PROFILE


Key Result Areas:

1. Achieving business objectives of sales and service, as per plan

2. Channel Management and expansion.

3. Market intelligence and reporting

4. Assisting channel partners in acquisition and maintaining key accounts

5. Interacting & co-ordination with branch logistics, CST. Service and Marketing teams for ensuring customer delight.

6. Drive key initiatives of the organization


Job Description:

1. Achieving sales / service topline objectives thru designated channel partners and ensuring collections as per norms. Also maintain channel hygiene by timely closure of queries /complaints.

2. Plan for channel expansion as per the gap analysis and ABP.

3. Market coverage in city and upcountry dealer locations.

4. Inventory management of vending machines, sales and service consumables, hygiene and compliance at the local level as per norms.

5. Assist and guide channel partners in acquiring key customers through lead generation, negotiations, demos etc.

6. Conducting periodic sales and service trainings in coordination with HO for channel partners 7. Build required rapport with the channel partners and key accounts in the assigned territory so as to maintain desired consumption and service levels.

8. Studying competitor / market activity in the assigned territory & giving relevant feedback to Regional Head

9. Driving any new organizational initiatives as announced from time to time 10. Lead and manage team of outsourced sales and service personnel


REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

Essential:

Graduate in any Discipline

Preferred:

MBA


REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

Preferred:

Exposure to Vending industry


SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Essential:
