Role Description

This is a part-time, freelance, on-site role for a Psychologist at Diet Insight in Chandigarh. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing counseling, conducting psychological assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support individuals in achieving mental wellness.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting Assessments: Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through various psychological assessment tools.
  2. Providing Individual Therapy/Counseling: Offer therapeutic support to help clients cope with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and other psychological issues.
  3. Developing Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans based on clients' specific mental health concerns, set goals, and monitor their progress throughout therapy.
  4. Conducting Mental Health Awareness Programs and Workshops: Organize and lead mental health awareness programs or stress management workshops to promote mental wellness in the community.
  5. Collaboration with Wellness Professionals: Work closely with nutritionists, doctors, and other wellness professionals to create comprehensive wellness plans tailored to each client's needs.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in psychological assessment, counseling, and therapy.
  • Strong proficiency in psychological assessment and counseling skills.
  • Experience in mental health and therapy, with a solid understanding of emotional, behavioral, and psychological assessments.
  • Ability to collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong empathy and excellent communication skills.
  • Languages Required: Fluency in English and Hindi is a must; Punjabi is preferred.
