Analyst Group Manager, Private Markets

As the Analyst Group Manager for Private Markets, you will:

  • Prepare and monitor the day-to-day tasks of a 25–50-strong team of financial analysts.
  • Plan, train, evaluate, and support the team members' long-term performance and growth. 
  • Manage highly technical, discreet, and time-sensitive communications with clients, external fund managers, and Invient analysts and managers.
  • Rapidly build your expertise in private market fund accounting and analysis to provide decisive technical leadership to the analyst team.


Some specific tasks include:

  • Researching and offering timely and accurate resolutions to questions and issues raised by the team and clients and escalating them as necessary
  • Reviewing the team's analysis output for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
  • Planning and executing one-off special projects for clients
  • Managing efficient team utilization and providing reports to management
  • Identifying, planning, and offering customized training for team members
  • Conducting periodic performance reviews and team-building activities


Qualifications

  • Solid collegiate education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of detailed financial analysis work in a professional environment, preferably in alternative assets
  • 3+ years of team management skills in financial services
  • Mastery in creating and analyzing complex financial spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Skillful verbal and written business communications in English
  • Demonstrated ability and aptitude for learning new finance concepts quickly
