Job Description: IoT Specialist – BMS and IoT Cloud Data Integration

Location: Noida / Pune


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated IoT Specialist with a solid understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS), IoT technologies, and data transmission to cloud platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing firmware, implementing, and maintaining IoT solutions to set up and enhance connectivity, data flow, and system performance.


Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate IoT solutions for EV batteries and vehicles.

• Enable seamless data transmission from IoT devices to cloud platforms using standard protocols such as MQTT.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth hardware and software integration.

• Develop firmware for IoT hardware.

• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, communication, and data integrity issues.

• Ensure security, and reliability of IoT and BMS systems.

• Optimize IoT systems for low latency and high data throughput.

• Ensure firmware supports OTA commands and FOTA.

• Document system designs, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.


Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with IoT technologies and data transmission protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets).

• Firmware development programming experience in C/C++, or similar languages.

• Knowledge of BMS architecture and functionalities is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.

• Proficiency in working with communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, or RS485

• Knowledge of secure data transmission techniques, including encryption and authentication


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in energy, automotive, or renewable sectors.

• Knowledge of over-the-air (OTA) updates for IoT devices.


Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
