Job Description:


We are seeking a Legal Manager & CS specializing in Contracts and Litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience within the manufacturing or IT industry. As Legal Manager & CS , you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal & Secretarial support, strategic advice, and guidance on contractual matters and litigation issues to ensure the company's interests are protected and legal risks are managed effectively. Legal 90% and CS function 10%


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Contracts Management:
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, sales agreements, distribution agreements, procurement contracts, and service agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations and align with the company's policies and objectives.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations, risk assessment, and dispute resolution mechanisms.


2.Litigation Management:


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation matters, including disputes, claims, and legal actions involving the company.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal teams to develop and implement litigation strategies.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and risk assessments related to litigation matters.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to senior management on potential legal risks and litigation outcomes.


3.Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the manufacturing industry and advise the company on compliance obligations.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
  • Conduct internal investigations and audits as necessary to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.


4.Legal Advisory and Support:


  • Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization, including procurement, sales, operations, and finance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and achieve business objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance legal awareness and understanding among employees.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • LLB / LLM degree from an accredited law school. Plus CS is also a Must to have for 10% secreterial / compliance work.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience with a focus on contracts and litigation within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial contracts.
  • Extensive experience managing litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and business acumen, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing legal issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the manufacturing sector.
