As a WordPress Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop functional and visually appealing websites using the WordPress platform. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to create custom WordPress themes, customize plugins, and website functionality based on the requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


● WordPress Development: Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. This includes theme and plugin development, customizations, and integration of third-party tools and services.


● Front-End Development: Implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for mobile devices.


● Theme Customization: Customize pre-existing WordPress themes or create custom themes from scratch to match client requirements and design specifications. This may involve modifying CSS styles, creating custom page templates, and implementing advanced functionality.


● Plugin Development: Develop custom WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of websites. This may involve integrating APIs, creating custom widgets, and enhancing the overall user experience.


● Website Maintenance: Perform regular updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks for existing WordPress websites. Ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress version, monitor website performance, and address any issues or bugs that arise.


● Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clients, project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements, provide accurate estimates, and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines. Communicate effectively and proactively throughout the development process.


● Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any bugs or issues. Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and usability.


● Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest industry trends, WordPress updates, and best

practices. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions.



Required Skills and Qualifications:


● Proficiency in WordPress theme development, including theme and plugin development/customization.

● Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.

● Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

● Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap.

● Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.

● Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

● Familiarity with SEO best practices and accessibility standards.

● Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

● Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● A strong portfolio demonstrating WordPress development skills and projects.
