Tejas Networks is an R&D-driven organization focused on being at the forefront of technological advancements in the field of telecommunications. With an R&D team comprising of more than 50% of the organization strength, we have continued to invest in the development of new product capabilities. Our products span across carrier-grade OTN/DWDM, xPON based fiber broadband, wireless broadband, Ethernet switching and routing and more. Tejas is one of the leading innovators in India’s ICT sector with over 349 patents and a large repository of 280+ semiconductor IPs. Tejas is actively contributing to global 5G standards through its work in India’s telecom standards organization (TSDSI). All this has been done with an energetic & dedicated team of engineers, for whom no problem is unsolvable.
Summary: -
o Candidate will be part of 24/7 Level-3 TAC Support responsible for handling customer issues from GPON/FTTx technology.
Skills Required: -
o Hands-on Experience in GPON/FTTx systems ONT and OLT.
o Experience in Installation, Configuration, Testing and troubleshooting of GPON ONT/OLT.
o Excellent Problem-solving skills and communication skills.
o Handling of EMS/NMS platforms is desirable.
o Packet capture analysis, Ethernet Testers and WiFi Analysers.
o TR069, AAA, RADIUS, VLAN, DHCP, PPPoE, Triple-play services, Carrier-Ethernet, L2 Protocols and IPv4/v6.
Job Description: -
o Working with GPON Network Elements and Network Management Systems.
o Understanding the Field issues in coordination with Field Support Engineers and analyse with internal stakeholders.
o Owning the responsibility till the resolution.
o Working in Lab Environment (ONT/OLT, EMS/NMS, Test equipment) to replicate the Customer reported issues.

Education & Experience:
o BE/B-Tech
o Experience 2 to 8 years.
