Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, systems administration, and the latest DevOps tools and practices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and improving the reliability and scalability of our production systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure scalable and reliable environments.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration to deploy and manage applications in a scalable and efficient manner.
  • Cloud Services Management: Manage cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on Azure Functions and other cloud services (AWS, GCP) including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of software releases and provide ongoing support for production systems.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, and lead post-incident reviews to improve system reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and drive continuous improvement within the team.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Tools & Technologies:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with Azure Functions and other cloud-based services.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Understanding of security practices, including DevSecOps.
