Test Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Test Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing test procedures, executing tests on new software and hardware products to identify and fix flaws before they reach end-users. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our company’s products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement test plans to ensure the quality of software and hardware products.

- Design automated tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.

- Analyze bug reports and highlight problems to help identify fixes for them.

- Document test cases, manage testing schedules, and ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.

- Perform both manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.

- Collaborate with software developers and project supports to determine project scope and requirements.

- Ensure that deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

- Maintain standards compliance and ensure all products are up to relevant industry standards.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.

- Experience in project management and QA methodology.

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.

- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
