Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements, articulate capabilities, and deeply explain past work and methodologies.
  • Optimize data processes for improved performance and efficiency, focusing on SQL migration and handling complex data structures.
  • Ensure data security measures are strictly implemented and maintained across all processes.
  • Collaborate with different teams to understand end-to-end data flow from ingestion to exploitation, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on the Azure platform.
  • Proven expertise in SQL, including extensive experience with SQL databases and migration processes.
  • Strong background in data modeling, understanding data structures, and common algorithms.
  • Required knowledge of Azure Data Engineering Platform, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Data Factory for pipeline orchestration.
  • Proficiency in handling arrays in Python (searching, reversing, and sorting) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to answer scenario-based questions about past work, including detailed discussions related to certifications and past projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interactions and presentations.

Skills:

  • Must have: SQL, Data Modeling, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory
  • Nice to have: Python programming
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and interface effectively with different technical teams.
