Position: Software Architect C#/.NET/Angular


Location: Uster Technologies India, Coimbatore


Uster Technologies AG, Switzerland (www.uster.com) is the global leader for managing spinning mills with quality in mind. We provide a global cloud solution for spinning mills consisting of various cloud services. In a team of Software Developers and Software Testers you develop and provide specific cloud services to our customers in the textile world.


Job Responsibilities:

As a Scrum Team member, you:

  • Responsible for the coherent service architecture within the given global frame.
  • Actively implement global cloud services with your team, making full use of your Full stack software engineering skills.
  • Coach Software Developers and help them to solve complex engineering problems in line with global architecture.


Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a full stack developer in Agile team
  • Experience in software architecture with distributed microservices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to demonstrate clarity, structure, and confidence.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field


Front-End Development with Angular

  • Angular Framework: Proficiency in Angular, a popular front-end framework developed by Google, for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
  • HTML/CSS/TypeScript: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, which are essential for building Angular components and templates.
  • Component-Based Architecture: Understanding and implementation of Angular’s component-based architecture for modular and maintainable code.
  • Material Design: Familiarity with Angular Material or other UI component libraries for consistent and visually appealing user interfaces.


Back-End Development with .NET

  • C# Programming: Proficiency in C#, the primary language used in the .NET ecosystem, for server-side development.
  • ASP.NET Core: Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, a cross-platform framework for building modern web applications with .NET.
  • Web API Development: Building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API for data exchange between the front-end and back-end.


Cloud Services

  • Microsoft Azure: Expertise in Azure services for cloud hosting, storage, and scaling web applications.


General Job requirements:

  • Experience in industrial applications and eager to step into the textile domain.
  • Comfortable to work in a global organization and collaborate with peers in distributed teams.
  • Willingness to travel, as required.
