Role Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is highly proficient in building performant and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision, is a problem solver, is self-driven, and is adaptable to the fast-paced environment of a startup. As part of our lean tech team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and contribute directly to our growth. Your ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions will be key to our success.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 1-5 years in Full-Stack Development, particularly with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Understanding of ESG principles and sustainability concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Flutter & Firebase is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Collaborate with teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our tech stack.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
