ThreatXIntel is committed to empowering businesses of all sizes with high-quality cyber security services to protect their digital assets and support growth.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced BI Migration Engineer with strong expertise in migrating legacy OBIEE reports into modern Tableau dashboards, using Databricks Medallion Architecture and AWS Cloud as the new data platform. The consultant will work across data modeling, ETL/ELT transformation, semantic layer redesign, and dashboard re-engineering to ensure a smooth migration from Oracle-based reporting systems to a scalable cloud BI environment.This role requires deep hands-on experience with OBIEE RPD/report logic, Tableau dashboard development, Databricks pipelines, and AWS data services.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze legacy OBIEE reports, RPD models, subject areas, metrics, and calculations.Reverse-engineer OBIEE data flows and convert logic into modern data models.Build Bronze, Silver, Gold layers using Databricks Medallion Architecture.Develop ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark/Spark SQL.Recreate reports and dashboards in Tableau, ensuring functional and visual parity.Optimize performance using Tableau best practices (LOD, extracts, data blending, joins).Work with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift/Athena) for data ingestion and storage.Validate migrated reports and ensure data accuracy, metric consistency, and business logic alignment.Partner with business users to gather requirements and refine dashboards.Document data flows, mapping rules, transformations, and dashboard logic.Support UAT, cutover, and final deployment to production environments.Required Skills5+ years experience in OBIEE (RPD, Answers, Dashboards).3+ years hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard development.Strong expertise in Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake).Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold).Experience with AWS Cloud data stack (S3, Glue, Athena, IAM, Lambda, Redshift preferred).Strong SQL experience across Oracle and cloud data platforms.Experience converting BI metrics, KPIs, and semantic layers from legacy systems.Ability to interpret business logic from OBIEE RPD and rebuild it accurately.Strong communication, documentation, and requirement-gathering skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in full BI modernization/migration programs.Knowledge of performance tuning for Tableau and Databricks.Experience with Airflow, DBT, or other orchestration tools.Experience with enterprise BI governance and metadata management.Familiarity with reporting validations and QA processes.Nice to HaveGood understanding of Oracle EBS or Oracle data models.Dashboard UX/UI experience.Data lineage & cataloging experience (Collibra, AWS Glue Data Catalog).
